Այս անքամ Դրինք՝ն՝Դրոն փորձեց կոմիկսի վերածել բանաստեղծություն: Սրանով մենք մի քայլ եւս մոտեցանք Մետ Մեդենին եւ “Oubapo” խմբին, որոնք առաջնային են համարում տեքստը, գրավոր խոսքը: Օրինակն ինքը հայտնվեց մեր ձեռքում: Սիրանուշ Դվոյանի վերջերս լույս տեսած “Տեքստի ընթերցում” ձեռնարկում հանդիպեցինք մի ֆանտաստիկ բազմաշերտ բանաստեղծության, որի հեղինակն է Հրաչյա Սարուխանը (2005թ.“Սիրո հուշապսակ” հատորից):

Մեկը եկավ՝ մի անստվեր,
Ու տիրացավ ստվերիս:
Հետո եկավ ինչ-որ ստվեր
Ու մարմնիս տիրացավ...

Անէացա տեսիլքի պես,
Ու երբ նրանք հեռացան,
Մի հավք մնաց իմ փոխարեն
Ու մի... երկփող հրացան:

Հենց դա էլ որոշվեց կոմիկսապատել: Սահմանափակումը հետեւյալն էր. մեկ տողը՝ մեկ կադր: Իհարկե, մինչեւ գործին անցնելն արժեր կարդալ գիրքը, քանի որ այն նվիրված էր “տեքստի հետ աշխատելու, դրանց մեջ թափանցելու հմտությունների մշակելուն” եւ հեղինակը մի քանի անգամ տարբեր խորությամբ կատարել էր տեքստի մանրամասն (“տեքստին մոտ”) ընթերցում: Բայց, ինչպես միշտ, ժամանակը սուղ էր, եւ բոլորն անմիջապես անցան գործի: Իրոք որ, ժամանակի սղությունը եւս մի սահմանափակում է, որը միշտ պիտի հաշվի առնել....

Ամեն դեպքում, բանաստեղծության հիման վրա ստեղծված կոմիկսները նույնպես կարելի է համարել “տեքստին մոտ” ընթերցման տարբերակներ:

Translating poetry into comics language with time and volume constrains resulted in interesting produce.
This time the Drink’n’Draw session tried to make a comic strip out of a poem. This is a step towards Matt Madden and Oubapo group, which consider text and written word as a starting point. We didn’t wait long for a suitable example. In recently published "Reading a Text" by Siranush Dvoyan we came across the fantastic, multi-layered poem authored by Hrachya Sarukhan. Here is the word-for-word translation:

Someone came - a shadowless one,
And took possession of my shadow.
Then some shadow came
And took possession of my body...

I disappeared like a phantom,
And when they left,
One bird remained instead of me,
And one... double-barrelled rifle.

This is the poem we decided to work with. One line is one panel – this was the constrain for comics. Indeed, before the start it will e useful to reqd the book, since it was devoted to the “work with text, to master ability of penetrating into text” and the author several times analysed the text using “close reading” technique. But, as always, we were short of time and immediately started to draw. So, time limit is another constrain which always is there....

Anyway, comic strips based on the poem can be considered as another options of “close reading”.
